Kylie Jenner Reveals Ambition for More Acting Roles After Mockumentary Cameo

Kylie Jenner has openly expressed her desire to take on additional acting roles following her recent film debut in Charli XCX's satirical mockumentary, The Moment. The 28-year-old American socialite and reality television star appeared as an exaggerated version of herself in the comedy, which humorously depicts a fictionalised lead-up to singer Charli XCX's world tour.

Comfortable Entry into Acting

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Jenner disclosed that her cameo initially began as a lighthearted suggestion. "I kind of presented the idea, actually, to director Aidan Zamiri as a joke," she recounted. "I was like, 'well, if you want me to be in it, I would love to'." The project quickly transformed into a genuine opportunity, with Jenner noting it felt like a "comfortable avenue" for her first acting experience due to her pre-existing relationships with both the director and Charli XCX.

Jenner elaborated on the unexpected turn of events: "They came back, and Charli was really excited, and they legitimately wrote me into the script, and I was like, 'oh s***. Now I have to do it'." This spontaneous involvement has evidently sparked a newfound interest in acting for the celebrity.

Future Aspirations in Comedy

Looking ahead, Jenner confirmed her ambition to secure more screen time. "I've actually gotten a few scripts, nothing that I feel is right yet, but I one hundred percent want to do more," she stated. Emphasising her preference for comedic roles, she added: "I really like comedy. I think I'm good at it." This marks a potential expansion of her career beyond her established ventures.

Reflections on Fame and Family

Beyond her burgeoning acting aspirations, Jenner is widely recognised for her long-standing role in the family's reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which first aired on E! in 2007 and propelled the Kardashian-Jenner clan to global fame. She also founded the highly successful make-up brand, Kylie Cosmetics.

Reflecting on her early entry into the public eye, Jenner, the youngest sibling, shared: "I don't think any of us knew what we were getting ourselves into in the beginning." She drew a poignant parallel to her own daughter, who is nearly eight years old, noting: "I was nine, I have a daughter now who's turning eight, so it's crazy to see her and how young she is. And this is when you start creating your first memories."

Jenner concluded with a reflection on her unique upbringing: "It's almost like I just don't know anything else. I never got a taste of normalcy as an adult. Growing up in it almost was a benefit to me because I don't have anything to compare it to, really."

Personal Life and Motherhood

The star is a mother to two children, Stormi and Aire, with her former partner, rapper Travis Scott. Discussing her experience of early motherhood, she remarked: "I got pregnant when I was 19, I had her when I was 20 – looking back on it, people are like, 'whoa'." She added: "They don't realise how young I was, maybe because I had already had this business, and had been in the world for so long."

Jenner is currently in a relationship with Hollywood actor Timothée Chalamet, with their public appearances during awards season drawing significant media attention. As she approaches her late twenties, Jenner told the US publication that her focus remains on herself, her work, and her family, though she expressed a desire to have more children in the future.
