Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Finalise Divorce Settlement After 19 Years
Kidman and Urban Finalise Divorce Settlement

Hollywood star Nicole Kidman and country music singer Keith Urban have formally finalised the terms of their divorce, bringing a swift legal conclusion to their 19-year marriage. The settlement was reached just three months after Kidman, 58, initiated proceedings.

Swift Settlement and Key Financial Terms

Court documents, made public this week, reveal the former couple have agreed to a clean financial break. Both parties have permanently waived all rights to spousal support and alimony. In a notable decision, the court has ordered zero dollars in child support, despite both parents reporting monthly incomes exceeding $100,000.

The final decree states that all property, including household items, vehicles, bank accounts, and investments, has been divided to their mutual satisfaction, with each keeping assets already in their possession. Each party will also cover their own legal fees and expenses, with any remaining court costs split equally.

Custody Arrangements for Sunday and Faith

A detailed parenting plan has been established for their two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith, 14. Kidman will have the children for 306 days of the year, granting her the lion's share of custody. Urban, also 58, is allocated 59 days, described as 'every other weekend'.

The agreement appears to have been reached amicably through their attorneys. The legal documents explicitly note that both parties wished to avoid formal, contentious discovery processes like interrogatories or depositions designed to uncover assets and debts.

A Quiet End to a Long Marriage

Kidman cited irreconcilable differences when she filed for divorce on 30 September, just one day after their separation was confirmed. Sources indicate the marriage had been under strain since the beginning of summer 2025, with work commitments leading to a quiet, months-long separation.

A hearing was held recently, though Kidman waived her right to appear, having been spotted returning from Australia just the day before. With this settlement signed, the divorce is essentially complete, pending the formal entry of the final judgment. It remains unconfirmed whether the pair had a prenuptial agreement.
