Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban's £100k Monthly Incomes Revealed in Divorce Papers
Kidman & Urban's £100k Monthly Incomes in Divorce

Court filings in Nashville have made public the financial and custodial details of the divorce between Hollywood star Nicole Kidman and country music singer Keith Urban, bringing a formal end to their 19-year marriage.

High-Earning Split With No Spousal Support

The legal papers, lodged in Tennessee, reveal the extraordinary individual wealth of both parties. The Oscar-winning actress and the Grammy-winning musician, both aged 58, each reportedly earn a monthly income exceeding US $100,000 (approximately £79,000). Despite this significant wealth, the settlement shows a remarkably amicable and independent split.

Kidman initially filed for divorce on 30 September, with the final decree coming just three months later. In a notable decision, both have agreed to waive any claims to alimony or spousal support. Each will also be responsible for their own legal fees incurred during the process.

Unique Custody Arrangement and Zero Child Support

The agreement outlines the care plan for the former couple's two teenage daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15. Kidman will have primary custody, with the children residing with her for 306 days of the year. Urban's time with them is set at 59 days, described as 'every other weekend'.

In a surprising element of the settlement, the pair have agreed to a zero child support arrangement. This is likely facilitated by their immense individual earnings and the shared responsibility for costs like private school tuition.

An Amicable Division of Assets

The former power couple, who married in 2006 and announced their separation last September, have opted for a private division of their shared estate. This includes investments, bank accounts, furniture, vehicles, and personal belongings. Each will retain possession of the assets already in their name. It remains unclear whether a prenuptial agreement was in place prior to their 2006 wedding.

The court documents emphasise the cooperative nature of the split, stating both parties wished to avoid formal discovery processes like interrogatories or depositions designed to uncover assets and debts. This suggests the details were worked out amicably between their attorneys.

The final hearing was scheduled earlier this week in Nashville. Kidman was unable to attend in person as she was returning from a New Year visit to Australia, her first trip home since the breakup. She was spotted at Sydney Airport with her daughters, marking a family holiday without Urban.

The settlement concludes one of Hollywood's most enduring modern marriages, with both mega-stars moving forward financially independent and with a clear, agreed plan for co-parenting their children.
