Katie Price brands ex Dwight Yorke a 'sperm donor' over Harvey snubs
Katie Price slams Dwight Yorke as 'sperm donor'

Katie Price has launched a fresh and emotional attack on her former partner, footballer Dwight Yorke, branding him a 'sperm donor' and detailing the extent of his absence from their son's life.

A Mother's Heartbreaking Revelation

In a trailer for an upcoming podcast, the 47-year-old media personality shed light on the staggering number of times Yorke has allegedly refused to meet their 23-year-old son, Harvey. Price, who has raised Harvey as a single mother since his birth, has frequently spoken about the former Manchester United star's lack of contact.

Harvey, who is blind, autistic, and has Prader-Willi syndrome, has never had a relationship with his biological father. Katie explained that her mother, Amy, makes a poignant effort every year, contacting Yorke's manager to invite him for Harvey's birthday or Christmas. 'It’s always the same answer, just not interested,' Price revealed.

A History of Denial and Disinterest

The rift dates back to Harvey's birth after a brief fling between Price and Yorke, now 54. The footballer initially denied paternity, only accepting fatherhood after a DNA test. He did visit the hospital and insisted Harvey take his surname, but contact quickly dwindled to nothing.

Price stated she always wanted to ensure Harvey could never ask, 'Why didn’t you let my dad see me?' However, she added, 'Harvey doesn’t understand, which is probably a good thing.' Yorke, who has another son named Orlando, has previously admitted he wasn't the 'perfect partner' to Price during their relationship.

Harvey's Own Pleas for Contact

The situation has seen desperate pleas from both mother and son. Earlier this year, a heartbreaking video surfaced on Price's Instagram showing Harvey wearing a football shirt and chanting for his dad, 'Oi oi, Yorkie!' Price tagged both Manchester United and Dwight Yorke in the post, a public attempt to bridge the gap.

Despite these efforts, the footballer's apparent disinterest remains unchanged. The full interview, where Katie Price discusses this and more, is set for release on the 'Life Stories by Lewis Nicholls' podcast.
