Comedian Katherine Ryan has opened up about her pregnancy journey, revealing she was utterly convinced her baby was a boy – until a shocking twist proved her wrong.
In a candid interview, the Canadian-born star shared how she had been so sure of her baby's gender that she even decorated the nursery in blue and stocked up on boy's clothes. "I had no doubt," she laughed. "Everyone around me thought it was a boy too – even the midwives!".
The Big Surprise
However, when Ryan finally gave birth, she was in for the surprise of her life. "The moment they placed her in my arms, I just stared and said, 'Wait… that’s not a boy!'".
The comedian admitted she was so certain about having a son that she hadn’t even considered girl’s names. "We had to scramble to pick one in the delivery room," she joked.
