Karren Brady's Apprentice Glamour Sparks Fan Praise and Filter Debate

Karren Brady once again found herself at the centre of admiration on Wednesday as she unveiled a series of stunning behind-the-scenes photographs from the filming of The Apprentice, just ahead of Thursday's episode. The 56-year-old businesswoman took to her Instagram account to post several impeccably composed snaps, captured inside the luxurious living room of Mansfield House, the multi-million-pound mansion where candidates reside during the competition.

A Radiant Appearance and Dramatic Transformation

In the photographs, Karren showcased her dramatic weight loss while wearing a mint green suit layered over a coordinating semi-sheer jumper, which elegantly accentuated her newly slimmed-down figure. Flashing a subtle smile for the camera, her long hair was expertly styled in voluminous waves, and she sported a full face of flawlessly applied makeup, appearing more radiant and youthful than ever before.

Predictably, these glamorous shots triggered a flood of praise from her legion of fans. Many declared the mother-of-two looked 'absolutely exquisite' and hailed her as 'the Baroness of business and beauty'. Enthusiastic comments poured in, with followers gushing: 'An absolute stunner. Full stop, always has been'; 'Looking amazing as always'; and 'I must say you're looking great KB, an inspiration for a modern day woman'.

Further adulation included remarks such as: 'Have you ever seen a woman get more attractive every year that she gets older! Now don't be jealous people, work harder!'; 'Absolute baddie'; and 'you look unreal as usual!'. Others celebrated her combination of 'Intelligence, beauty and class all rolled into one!!', while some specifically noted: 'As ever, you looked stunning on the apprentice Karren' and 'Stunning outfit you look amazing Karren'.

Accusations of Photo Editing and Unrecognisable Looks

However, not all responses were uniformly complimentary. A contingent of followers commented that they had almost failed to recognise Karren, claiming she looked like 'a completely different person', with some directly accusing her of digitally editing her photographs. Critical comments included: 'Karen you look amazing but - Doesn’t look like this on tv'; 'The AI is strong with this one'; and 'Filters, filters, filters'.

Others expressed scepticism, writing: 'You don’t look like you?' and 'You look stunning, Karren. But I found this image of you looks fake to me, not that I'm saying it couldn't be you.' Some questioned the disparity between her social media appearance and television persona, stating: 'Why does she edit her photos... no way she looks like that on tv!' One astonished follower remarked: 'Oh my God, I cannot believe this is Karen Brady. She looks like a completely different person. Amazing but like a completely different person wow just wow', while another simply exclaimed: 'Airbrush!'

The Secrets Behind the Flawless Look

Karren Brady has openly revealed the secret to how her Instagram snaps achieve such a flawless appearance. She regularly shares credit with her team of celebrity hair stylists and makeup artists, who are on hand to ensure she looks and feels her best. In all her recent behind-the-scenes photographs, she has tagged her celebrity makeup stylist Mikey, whose clientele includes Rebekah Vardy, Alison Hammond, and Olivia Attwood.

Similarly, her hair stylist, also named Mikey, has worked with high-profile figures such as Kelly Brook, Rebel Wilson, and Ayda Field. This professional support underscores the meticulous preparation involved in her public appearances.

Addressing Weight Loss Speculation and Health Journey

Karren has also directly addressed the widespread speculation surrounding her newly slimmed-down figure, particularly after facing accusations that her transformation resulted from weight loss medications like Ozempic. She firmly denied using such injections, insisting that her body transformation was achieved through traditional methods: a controlled diet and regular exercise.

Speaking to The Sun about her weight loss, she argued that inquiries about how she shed pounds often represent an effort to 'belittle' her or 'make her feel insecure'. 'I'm not on Ozempic, but questions about women's weight come up far more often than they should,' she stated. 'I'd much prefer the conversation to be focused around my work.'

She elaborated: 'Anyone can do anything they want to their own body. I have no problem with it at all. But people think they know something they don't know, or they just presume. And so what if I was? And what if I wasn't? It would be my choice. I think the way people talk about women's bodies is certainly an effort to belittle them or make them feel insecure.'

Reflecting on her experiences, Karren added: 'I've been called too fat, too thin and everything in between. I've had a lifetime of it. All I want is to feel strong, physically and mentally.'

Fitness Regimen and Lifestyle Adjustments

Karren previously admitted to losing as much as five kilograms before every Apprentice launch, 'so I look my normal weight and I don't look huge next to Alan [Sugar] as he's so fit and healthy'. She noted that Lord Sugar has become something of a health kick companion, describing him as 'great, he is very fit' and revealing that he and her husband cycle together during holidays.

'He is super fit himself, so if anyone is giving tips, it is him to me,' she said, recalling a pleasant trip around Italy on Lord Sugar's boat. A regular gym-goer, the mother of two emphasises the importance of incorporating frequent exercise into her hectic schedule, which includes her role as vice chairman of West Ham United and duties in the House of Lords.

'You have to find the time to go, particularly as you get older,' she explained. 'I have a very set routine that I do, but it's mainly cardiovascular and weights, and I don't mind the odd swim. I go three or four times a week. I never have set days, because I've got a full-time job, then I have to go to the House of Lords often to vote, so I fit it in where I can.'

Grandmotherhood as a Motivational Catalyst

The businesswoman recently disclosed that her weight loss journey was significantly motivated by becoming a grandmother. Her daughter, Sophia Peschisolido, welcomed sons Leo, 22 months, and George, four months, inspiring Karren to prioritise her health.

'I have been on a health kick, I became a grandma, and I wanted to be a fit, healthy grandma, so I started eating healthy and exercising,' she shared. 'I haven't joined [the Ozempic Club] - bloody hard work. It is okay losing it, it is keeping it off. I have lost quite a bit - I don't know, though, as I don't weigh myself. I feel better for it. It is good because everything you put on fits.'

Latest Apprentice Developments and Upcoming Challenge

In the latest episode of The Apprentice, pharmacist Roxanne from Aberdeen, Scotland, was fired from the series, leaving her disappointed by what she deemed an 'undeserved' exit. The contestant launched a blistering attack on her team leader following the bottled water brand challenge, criticising project manager Conor Galvin for unclear instructions and alleging she was made an 'easy scapegoat'.

This Thursday's episode will see the remaining candidates tasked with selling flowers to the public and pitching bespoke arrangements to corporate clients. They will need to demonstrate sharp negotiation skills to maximise profits and display creative flair in transforming ordinary blooms into show-stopping arrangements.
