JoJo Siwa Opens Up About Baby Fever and Future Plans with Chris Hughes
JoJo Siwa Reveals Baby Plans with Boyfriend Chris Hughes

JoJo Siwa has candidly revealed her strong desire to start a family with her boyfriend, Chris Hughes, in a recent interview that addresses ongoing pregnancy speculation. The 22-year-old singer and former child star opened up about experiencing what she describes as "baby fever" with the 33-year-old British reality television personality.

Relationship Advice Sparks Realisation

Siwa explained that her feelings about wanting children with Hughes crystallised after receiving meaningful advice from fellow musician Meghan Trainor. "Meghan Trainor once told me," Siwa shared with E! News. "She said, 'You will know you love somebody when you love them so much you want to duplicate them and you want to pop a baby out that is made from them.'"

The Dance Moms alum continued, revealing how this wisdom resonated with her current relationship. "One of the first things that I said to her after I started dating Chris, I was like, 'I get what you're saying now.' I love [Chris] so much. I need there to be a mini [Chris]."

From Celebrity Big Brother to Baby Dreams

The couple's relationship began after they met and grew close while filming season 24 of Celebrity Big Brother U.K. last year. Their connection developed despite Siwa initially dating Australian actor and DJ Kath Ebbs during the show's production. After initially denying romantic involvement, the pair confirmed their relationship in June 2025.

Siwa described how seeing a childhood photograph of Hughes intensified her feelings. "He sent me a baby photo of him the other day. It's like him in a trash can," she recalled with affection. "It's really cute. And I was like, 'Uh oh.'"

Addressing Pregnancy Rumours and AI Speculation

The singer directly addressed recent speculation about her potential pregnancy, including AI-generated images she posted on TikTok earlier this month that depicted what her and Hughes' future children might look like. "He definitely knows it's out there," Siwa confirmed, noting that when she asked Hughes why he hadn't mentioned the viral content, he responded that he believed they had already discussed it.

This isn't the first time Siwa has playfully engaged with pregnancy rumours. Last summer, she participated in a TikTok game of "Two Truths and a Lie" to promote her cover of Kim Carnes' song "Bette Davis Eyes." Her video text included the statements: "1. I've never smoked a cigarette. 2. I'm pregnant. 3. This song comes out on Spotify Friday." She captioned the post: "Couple of things that need to be addressed, so might as well do it with 2 truths and a lie. Which is the lie?"

Long-Distance Relationship and Future Planning

Despite maintaining a long-distance relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom, Siwa and Hughes have been remarkably open about their long-term aspirations. The singer, who has previously expressed her dream of having three children, revealed in September that she had already planned a baby blue colour scheme for their potential future wedding.

The couple's willingness to discuss such personal future plans publicly demonstrates their commitment to building a life together, despite the geographical challenges of their transatlantic romance.
