The clip, posted on Instagram, shows the baby smiling as she receives cuddles and kisses from Jesy's mother, with Jesy herself heard laughing in the background and exclaiming "aww" at the sweet interaction.

Sweet Moments and Cute Hair Revealed

In another touching segment, Jesy is seen affectionately showing off her daughter's hair, laughing at the growing mullet style. "She's got a little mullet," Jesy admitted as she playfully flicked the baby's curls. "Look at this little mullet. She's got little curly tufts and then a little straight mullet. Have you ever seen? Oh my gosh. Look at you. Look at this little barnet... She's like a little cabbage patch doll."

Advocacy for SMA Screening

Jesy has been vocal about her twins' health condition, recently launching a petition to include Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) screenings in the newborn blood test. The petition quickly garnered over 100,000 signatures, reflecting widespread support for the cause.

Background on the Twins' Health

Her twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, were born prematurely in May 2025 after complications with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS). They were later diagnosed with SMA Type 1, a genetic condition that affects motor neurons, leading to progressive muscle weakness and atrophy. According to the NHS, SMA can impact a child's ability to sit, crawl, or walk, and may cause breathing and swallowing difficulties, with an estimated occurrence of one in 10,000 births.

For children with Type 1 SMA without breathing support, survival beyond the second birthday is rare, though advances in treatment have improved outcomes. Jesy revealed that her twins have received a one-off gene therapy infusion aimed at preserving functioning muscles.

Continuing Motherhood Journey

Jesy continues to share updates on her motherhood journey via social media and has released a documentary about her pregnancy. Her advocacy and personal stories highlight the resilience of families facing serious health challenges.
