Jeremy Clarkson Reveals 400 Pint Glasses Stolen Weekly from His Pub
Jeremy Clarkson: 400 Pint Glasses Stolen Weekly from Pub

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed the astonishing range of items stolen from his Farmer's Dog pub, including 400 pint glasses every week and even urinal traps. The former Top Gear host shared the details in the latest series of Clarkson's Farm.

Staggering Theft Figures

In footage from Clarkson's Farm series five, Jeremy disclosed the substantial amount of possessions taken by customers. Addressing the camera, he said: 'Glasses – want to hazard a guess how many of these are stolen every week?' After a pause, he revealed: 'No, you're quite wrong – it's 400. Four hundred glasses a week are nicked from here.'

Unusual Items Missing

Jeremy continued to list other unusual items going missing from his establishment. 'Just last night somebody stole £200 worth of cooking oil – and that's not the maddest thing that gets nicked from here.' He detailed that staff have now been compelled to secure the traps in the urinals, as these were also disappearing. The traps hold a small amount of water at the bottom of the urinal to prevent unpleasant odours. 'Who steals a urinal trap?' Jeremy asked the camera while confirming that lightbulbs were also frequently taken.

Financial Struggles

The disclosures come as Jeremy learned from his land agent that The Farmer's Dog Pub, which opened in 2024, was making a loss despite strong business. Charlie explained: 'It's partly the success that's causing the additional cost as the infrastructure of the pub can't cope.' He noted that costs for emptying the cesspit, hiring parking attendants, and grease extraction were draining finances. Jeremy made the choice to align prices with neighbouring pubs, though some already viewed The Farmer's Dog as pricey.

Clarkson's Farm Series Five

Beyond the pub developments, Clarkson's Farm season five includes footage of Jeremy's alarming health emergency, which resulted in him being rushed to hospital for urgent cardiac surgery. The series also tracks the television personality as he participates in a farming demonstration in London, campaigning against the government's inheritance tax proposals that risk devastating agricultural communities.

Season five is being launched in three instalments. The opening four episodes are currently available to watch on Prime Video. The second batch, containing episodes five and six, becomes available on June 10, while the concluding two episodes will be released on June 17. You can watch Clarkson's Farm on Amazon Prime Video now.
