I'm A Celebrity Clash: Jack Osbourne Sparks Fury by Dismissing Taylor Swift as 'Vanilla'
I'm A Celeb row erupts over Taylor Swift 'vanilla' insult

Campfire chatter turned combustible on Thursday night's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! as a debate over musical tastes ignited a fiery confrontation between Jack Osbourne and streaming star AngryGinge.

Swift Defence Erupts Over 'Vanilla' Slur

The spat erupted when conversation amongst the celebrities, which had covered topics from Cockney slang to parenting, turned to music. Manchester-born rapper Aitch, whose real name is Harrison Armstrong, solicited opinions on global pop phenomenon Taylor Swift.

Jack Osbourne, the 40-year-old TV personality and son of late rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, did not hold back. Making it clear he was not an admirer, Osbourne dismissively likened Swift's extensive musical catalogue to 'vanilla ice cream'.

The comment left fellow camper AngryGinge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, visibly shocked and leaping to the singer's defence. "She's not vanilla ice cream, she's mint chocolate!" he retorted, before issuing a stern warning: "Don't disrespect Taylor Swift!"

AngryGinge's Bush Telegraph Confession

Seeking to cool off after the heated exchange, AngryGinge later headed to the Bush Telegraph to confess his allegiance to the fanbase. "I am a Swiftie!" he declared to viewers. "Unbelievable, she is, her music’s incredible, she’s incredible. I’ve never met her. She’s also an aesthetically pleasing lady, she’s very beautiful."

The debate took a lighter turn when Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp, 64, chimed in to ask Ginge if he would snog the singer. The streamer replied with a laugh, "I'd be an idiot if I turned her down to be honest."

Martin Kemp Finally Faces Trial Amid Exemption Claims

Elsewhere in the eventful episode, after weeks of speculation from viewers and fellow campmates, Martin Kemp finally undertook a Bushtucker Trial. The Spandau Ballet legend teamed up with Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read Wilson, 39, for the 'Lethal Libraries' challenge.

His participation came a day after eliminated campmate Vogue Williams made surprising claims during an Instagram Live session. The Irish model, 40, suggested from her hotel in Surfer's Paradise that Kemp had been secretly exempt from a selection of earlier trials.

"Martin did want to do the trials, but Martin was exempt from some," Williams told fans. She added, "I think that because Martin is a bit quieter he was kinda happy to let everybody else go ahead." The Daily Mail has approached ITV for comment regarding these claims.

The trial also followed light-hearted mockery from Kemp's own son, presenter Roman, about his father's lack of participation in the gruelling challenges up to that point.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues nightly at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
