Ice Spice Attacked by Fan in Hollywood McDonald's Brawl

Rapper Ice Spice, who rose to prominence as an opening act on Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, was involved in a violent physical altercation at a McDonald's restaurant in Hollywood on Wednesday. The incident began when a fan named Vayah approached Ice Spice and her friend while they were seated in a booth.

Confrontation Escalates to Physical Violence

According to footage obtained by TMZ, Vayah made a gesture suggesting she wanted to join Ice Spice's table, which led to a heated exchange between the two women. The tension quickly escalated when Vayah struck Ice Spice in the face inside the restaurant, prompting both women to begin swinging at each other until a male bystander intervened to separate them.

The altercation continued as Ice Spice pursued Vayah toward the exit, leaping over tabletops in the process. At the doorway, Ice Spice's friend attempted to intervene but was knocked into a table by Vayah. Despite attempts by other patrons to calm the situation with cries of "Calm down!", the conflict spilled outside the restaurant.

Fight Spills Into Hollywood Streets

Video obtained by the Daily Mail shows the confrontation continuing in the street, where Ice Spice was eventually knocked to the ground during another physical exchange with Vayah. The incident was marked by shouting matches, with Ice Spice demanding to know Vayah's location and challenging others to fight.

At one point, Ice Spice picked up a phone from the restaurant floor and threw it outside, sparking another argument. She was heard shouting, "Cause f*** y'all, that's why. F*** you and that b****," when questioned about her actions. The rapper also challenged a male bystander, yelling, "Or your mama, let me fight her!"

Conflicting Accounts of the Incident

Vayah later provided her version of events to TMZ, claiming she had approached Ice Spice to offer compliments but received a "rude" response. She stated that when Ice Spice told her to leave and called her a derogatory name, she responded by hitting the rapper.

"So she kept going on, then she calls me a b****, so after she calls me a b****, I hit her," Vayah explained in her interview.

Legal Action and Security Concerns

Ice Spice's lawyer, Bradford Cohen, has issued a formal statement confirming that the incident has been reported to the Los Angeles Police Department. Cohen declared, "The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly."

The attorney also indicated potential action against the McDonald's location, adding, "We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security."

Ice Spice has recently achieved significant fame through her association with Taylor Swift's massively successful Eras Tour, performing as an opening act at multiple shows including a 2024 performance in New Jersey. This incident represents a dramatic departure from her musical career trajectory and raises questions about celebrity security in public spaces.
