Harry Styles has launched the London leg of his Together Together tour with a historic residency at Wembley Stadium, marking the first of 12 shows at the iconic venue. The singer, known for hits like Golden and Adore You, delivered an emotional performance that included rare reflections on his time with One Direction.
A Nostalgic Start
Speaking to the 90,000-strong crowd, Styles thanked his sister Gemma for bringing him to Wembley Arena 16 years ago for his X Factor audition. He said: "It is an absolute pleasure to be here at Wembley Stadium. Just outside this building, 16 years ago, my sister brought me to London for the first time for my X Factor audition. Driving here today, and anytime I come to Wembley, it means so much to me."
One Direction Tribute
Styles paid heartfelt tribute to his former bandmates, including Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and the late Liam Payne. He recalled: "It's right in that building next door where I was put into a band, One Direction. Driving here today, I drove the same way that I used to come when I first went to that building." He also expressed pride in his sister, who was in attendance.
Tour and Album Celebration
The tour celebrates Styles' fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. He performed tracks like Dance No More, Aperture, and Are You Listening Yet? alongside fan favorites. Country music star Shania Twain is the support act for all London shows. After London, the tour will visit Sao Paulo, Mexico City, New York City, Melbourne, and Sydney.
Historic Run and Stage Design
Styles' Wembley gigs break the record for the longest single-artist run at the stadium, surpassing Coldplay's 10 nights in 2025 and Taylor Swift's eight in 2024. Addressing fan concerns about visibility, Styles explained his stage design: "The reason why we made the stage like this is because I wanted to be in it with you. I wanted to be as close to as many of you as possible." His team made adjustments ahead of London to improve views for all attendees.
Styles also paid tribute to London, the city he moved to at 16, praising its community and atmosphere. The residency continues to draw massive crowds, with fans dancing and singing along to every song.
