Harper Beckham is a step closer to launching her own beauty range after a new business move. An application filed at the Intellectual Property Office in January and approved last month gives her the green light to make 'Class 3' products under a new name.
New Trademark Secured
It looks like the Beckhams are almost ready to kick off a new beauty brand for daughter Harper. The couple, who have already trademarked the phrase Hiku by Harper, have quietly secured the right to use the brand name 'Kind Calmplex' for a range of beauty products.
Their application, filed at the Intellectual Property Office in January and approved last month, was made by Delaware based company Hiku Inc, which has offices in Los Angeles. It is thought that Victoria is the driving force behind the new brand as she has spoken of future plans for Harper to be involved in the beauty and makeup industry.
Documents at the intellectual property office show it has given the Beckhams the exclusive right to use Harper's new brand name under 'Class 3' across hundreds of products. The trademark listing covers soaps, perfumery and perfumes, essential oils, sun products, shampoo, moisturiser, facial scrubs, self-tanning treatments, cosmetic anti-spot treatments, beauty gels, hair styling mousse and eye-liner, among others.
Preparations Underway
Though there is still no launch date for the Harper Beckham brand, the Beckhams have been working for nearly two years, beginning in October 2024 with the incorporation of 'artistic creation' company H7B at Companies House. Harper turns 15 on July 10 next month, making her an ideal age to launch teenage beauty treatments. Her brand name Hiku is derived from the Japanese word, meaning 'to pull' or 'attract attention'.
In March it was reported that Harper had already done her first photoshoot for her brand and mum Victoria has previously said she thinks Harper will end up being 'a beauty mogul'. Any range is expected to be aimed at Gen Z and her own Gen Alpha, making her target audience younger than her mum's.
Victoria's Vision
Speaking to the Sunday Times Style podcast in May, Victoria said her daughter wants to go into the beauty industry, but was also balancing taking her GCSE exams. Victoria added: 'She's very passionate and has a point of view, but at the moment she is at school and working really, really hard, but we will see what happens.' She went on to say of Harper: 'She loves makeup and skincare. She has really struggled with her skin, but the one thing that doesn't change is that little girls love to go shopping. Harper loves to go shopping and makeup shopping, and that's such a nice feeling we can do that together.'
Broader Trademark Portfolio
A private business controlled by Victoria Beckham has been filing trademark applications for Hiku by Harper in the UK and America. The brand name, approved here but stalled in America, has been transferred to Delaware firm Hiku Inc. Hiku by Harper is the larger of the two trademarks they have taken out, spanning ten classes of goods. The application for this brand name was made in October 2025 and approved in February this year.
Other goods Harper and her mum could produce under this range with the new business include antibacterial acne preparations, metal rings for keys, stationery, combs, drinking bottles, hair brushes, coffee mugs, footwear, caps, hats and boots; hoodies, pyjamas and jumpsuits, among others.
Family Updates
Harper was in the headlines last week when she attempted to meet up with her estranged brother Brooklyn. She was photographed making a solo visit to his home after her dad David was given his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. However her hopes of a reconciliation were dashed as Brooklyn was not home and later revealed on social media he was hundreds of miles away.
