Freddy Brazier, the 21-year-old son of the late Jade Goody, has reportedly been banned from the upmarket Essex restaurant and celebrity haunt, Sheesh, following an incident where he was violently sick and required staff assistance until 3am.
The Night That Led to the Ban
According to a report in The Sun, the incident occurred last week. Brazier, who is expecting his first child with his on-off girlfriend Holly Swinburn, 22, is said to have overindulged in alcohol at the Chigwell venue. A source told the publication that 'Freddy was a right mess' and needed staff to sit with him until the early hours as he was being sick.
The source explained the establishment's stance, stating: 'He had way too much to drink, so he's now on the banned list. It's just not that kind of place, people come for dinner and drinks and a good time, not binge drinking.' As a direct consequence of his behaviour, Brazier was allegedly turned away at the door when he attempted to enter Sheesh the following Wednesday to attend the birthday celebrations of TOWIE star James 'Arg' Argent.
Denials and a Turbulent Personal Life
However, a representative for Freddy Brazier has strongly denied the claims of the ban and the reported antics, telling The Sun they 'deny these claims in full'. The Daily Mail has also contacted his representatives for comment.
This incident comes amid a highly public and acrimonious split from Holly Swinburn, the expectant mother of his child. Earlier this month, Swinburn gave a paid interview where she accused Brazier of hosting drug-fuelled parties with other women in their flat while she was away, and claimed he neglected her pet dog.
Brazier furiously hit back at the allegations, which he branded as 'lies' and 'sick'. He admitted to smoking a joint with friends but denied any orgy or hard drug use, stating: 'No orgy has been had in our flat! It certainly wasn't some sort of drug party either... I told everyone it was time to go.' He expressed concern that her statements could damage his future work prospects and his relationship with his unborn child.
Family Tensions and Past Controversies
The fallout has also drawn in his family. Brazier said he was angered by Swinburn's claim that his father, television presenter and parenting expert Jeff Brazier, was 'taking Holly's side' and checking in on her daily. This is not the first time Freddy's lifestyle has caused concern within his family.
He has previously faced allegations of problematic cannabis use, which once prompted his father to legally intervene to stop him from seeing his maternal grandmother, Jackiey Budden, over fears they would smoke together. Brazier claims he has been trying to quit but says the turbulent relationship with Swinburn has made it more difficult.
The public disputes mark another difficult chapter for Jade Goody's family, sixteen years after her tragic death from cervical cancer in 2009, with private struggles continuing to play out in the media spotlight.
