Drew Barrymore's Ex-Husband Welcomes Fourth Child, Son Hugh Radcliffe
Drew Barrymore's ex-husband Will Kopelman welcomes baby boy

Will Kopelman, the third former husband of Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore, has announced the arrival of his fourth child. The art consultant and his second wife, Alexandra Michler, welcomed a son, Hugh Radcliffe Kopelman, on Monday.

A New Arrival for the Kopelman Family

The newborn, affectionately nicknamed 'Hughie', weighed 7lbs and 12oz. The 47-year-old Kopelman and Michler, a 38-year-old Vogue staffer, shared the happy news on Instagram, posting a series of intimate family photographs. They captioned the images: 'So grateful for our little blessing. Wishing everyone health & happiness for 2026!'

The photos showed the proud parents with their new son, as well as their two-year-old boy, John Keats. In one particularly tender snap, the toddler was pictured carefully holding his infant brother. Another image captured the moment Kopelman's 11-year-old daughter with Barrymore, Frankie, cradled the baby, with Hughie's eyes wide open.

Blended Family Bonds

The announcement highlights the continued amicable relationship between Kopelman and his famous ex-wife. The pair divorced in 2016 after four years of marriage but have maintained a positive co-parenting dynamic for their two daughters, Olive, 13, and Frankie, 11.

In one of the Instagram photos, Kopelman is seen pressing his forehead against Olive as she holds her newborn half-brother. The family is known to enjoy group outings together, with Barrymore having previously referred to Michler as the girls' 'wonderful stepmother.'

Barrymore's Reflections on Heartbreak and Healing

Despite the current harmony, Barrymore has spoken candidly about the profound pain her divorce from Kopelman caused. In an interview with AARP The Magazine last year, the Daytime Emmy-winning host described the split as a devastating blow.

'My dream, to have this solid family, did not happen. I thought nothing could be worse than what I went through as a kid, but the divorce was so much worse,' she confessed. Barrymore said the experience 'shocked the s*** out of me' and that she 'really broke as a human being.'

The actress, who is the granddaughter of legendary actor John Barrymore, linked the trauma to her own father's absence, noting it made her 'aware that nothing's guaranteed.' Since the divorce, Barrymore has rebuilt her life, focusing on her successful talk show and other television projects.

Her personal life has had its ups and downs, including being ghosted after a date from the app Raya, which she discussed on her show in 2023. Barrymore was previously married to comedian Tom Green and bar owner Jeremy Thomas for brief periods.

Meanwhile, Kopelman's growing family celebrates its newest member, Hugh Radcliffe, marking a new chapter nearly a decade after his high-profile split from the E.T. star.
