Don Diamont, widely regarded as one of the most iconic male sex symbols in daytime television, continues to captivate audiences at age 63. The Bold and the Beautiful star recently shared a shirtless selfie on social media, sending fans into a frenzy.
Late-Night Swim Workout
In the photo, the soap legend grins at the camera while taking a late-night swim. He captioned the image: 'I've been training in the pool at night for the last couple of weeks. 20-30 minutes of interval sprints. I like changing things up. Great way to fire up the metabolism in the evening.' Diamont added, 'You may not have the ability or desire to get in the pool, but any kind of low or moderate activity post dinner is great for lowering your cortisol levels.' He urged his followers to 'take care' of themselves, stressing that 'doing a little something is better than doing a lot of nothing.'
Previous Shirtless Photo
Last year, Diamont stunned followers with another shirtless pool photo while vacationing on the French Riviera with his wife, Cindy Ambuehl. He touted swimming benefits, writing, 'That first picture might look like it, but I wasn't just being a poser... Cindy took that picture as I was taking a break from my vacation swim training. I would swim at least a half hour a day. Great cardio and great resistance training all in one.'
Fitness Routine and Career Highlights
In addition to swimming, Diamont enjoys boxing and weight lifting. He began his soap career playing Carlo Forenza on Days of Our Lives in 1984, later joining The Young and the Restless as Brad Carlton from 1985 to 1996 and again from 1998 to 2009. Since 2009, he has portrayed Bill Spencer Jr. on The Bold and the Beautiful. In 1990, he became the first daytime actor named to People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People list. He also graced the cover of Playgirl magazine in 1988 and 1995.
Personal Life and BBTV Launch
Diamont married Ambuehl in 2012 after meeting on the set of The Bold and the Beautiful. The couple has twin boys, and Ambuehl now works as a luxury real estate agent. Last month, they attended the launch party for BBTV, a subscription service featuring over 9,000 episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, along with original auditions, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage. Executive producer Bradley Bell called BBTV 'a heartfelt love letter to our viewers.' The Bold and the Beautiful remains the second highest-rated daytime soap, behind The Young and the Restless. Despite declining popularity, soaps show resilience, with CBS recently renewing Beyond the Gates for a third and fourth season.
