Model Delilah Belle Hamlin has been spotted enjoying a sun-drenched getaway in St Barths, showcasing her toned physique in a black bikini just months after undergoing major surgery.
Post-Christmas Caribbean Escape
The 27-year-old daughter of actress Lisa Rinna was photographed on Friday, laughing and relaxing on the beach with friends during her extended post-Christmas Caribbean trip. Hamlin donned a sleek black two-piece to top up her tan, appearing in high spirits as she joked with her companions and checked her phone while wearing protective sunglasses.
A Serious Health Battle Behind the Smile
This relaxing downtime follows a years-long and severe battle with endometriosis, which Hamlin detailed publicly last month. Speaking on the She MD podcast, she revealed the condition was once so extreme it triggered seizures, particularly around her menstrual cycle. "I would get really hot, and I would start convulsing," she explained.
Endometriosis, where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, affects an estimated one in 10 women in the United States, causing chronic pain, fatigue, and potential infertility. Hamlin recounted seeing multiple gynaecologists for her painful periods before receiving the diagnosis, stating, "no one mentioned endometriosis."
Recovery and Resilience
Four months ago, the platinum-blonde model underwent surgery to remove endometrial implants, a procedure that has significantly relieved her symptoms. "I'm very grateful," Hamlin said, while emphasising the importance of personal research in managing the complex condition.
Her health journey has also included stints in rehab for mental health in February and June 2018 during her time at New York University, as well as reported struggles with Lyme disease, Epstein-Barr virus, and other autoimmune disorders.
Meanwhile, her mother, Lisa Rinna, is preparing for her own challenge as one of the contestants on the upcoming fourth season of Peacock's The Traitors, premiering January 8.
