Former EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook has finally revealed her new face after recovering from gruelling surgery in Dubai. The actress, aged 52, underwent a comprehensive surgical overhaul, including a full face lift, neck lift, brow lift, and lip and nose reconstruction.
Extensive Procedures Follow Years of Health Struggles
These recent procedures in Dubai took place just months after an operation to repair her nose in June of last year, which was necessary due to damage from her past cocaine addiction that destroyed her septum. Westbrook has had multiple operations over the years to rebuild her face following prolonged drug abuse.
In an Instagram post last month, Danniella expressed gratitude to her surgeon, writing: "A massive amount of love and respect to my Amazing surgeon @parvizsadigh for all his hard work. Every day I grow and glow. Thank you and roll on Feb for the next operation."
New Photos Showcase Dramatic Transformation
In newly released photos, Danniella can be seen showing off her transformed appearance for the first time. Wearing a cornflour blue bikini, she displayed her new face, brows, and lips, marking a significant milestone in her recovery journey.
The actress had previously explained to the Mirror how she nearly died following a botched operation in the past. She suffered from severe osteoporosis in 2015, a condition that weakens bones, which left her with screws for teeth and complicated her surgical options.

Back in 2018, Danniella detailed her medical struggles, stating: "They need to take a piece of bone out of my skull and put a plate into my face but they’ve got nothing to stick the plate on at the minute because the bone’s not strong enough." She added that she was taken to a dentist multiple times due to extreme pain, which was not standard procedure.
Danniella also had her eroded septum and columella replaced, which was just the beginning of her extensive surgery journey. She has spoken openly about the emotional impact of her appearance, saying: "I hate the way I look. I’m constantly made fun of, and trolled for it." She revealed receiving hurtful messages from trolls who criticised her appearance and past addiction.
Recent Progress and Future Plans
In 2025, Danniella decided to undergo surgery again, this time focusing on her face. She shared that doctors were pleased with her progress, writing: "Today, I got the amazing news that I’m officially clear to move on to stage 2 of my recovery. Despite a rough patch with an infection (which was a known risk), my doctors are happy with how everything’s going – and that means everything to me."
The actress's journey highlights the long-term effects of drug abuse on physical health and the complex medical interventions required for reconstruction. Her openness about these challenges has shed light on the personal and public struggles faced by celebrities dealing with health issues.
