Northamptonshire Police have released CCTV images of a group of individuals they wish to speak to in connection with an alleged 'dine and dash' incident at a popular steakhouse in Kettering. The group reportedly consumed food and drink worth over £500 before fleeing without paying.
Incident Details
On Monday, April 6, between 5pm and 7.10pm, a group of diners enjoyed a meal at the Miller & Carter restaurant in Kettering. They ran up a substantial bill of £539.70, covering both food and drinks, before leaving the premises without settling their account.
The restaurant is highly rated on Google and is well known for its 30-day aged British and Irish steaks. Other popular dishes include the Miller's Steakhouse Dirty Burger and Salt & Pepper Calamari.
Police Appeal
A Northamptonshire Police spokesperson stated: 'The incident happened at the Miller & Carter restaurant on Monday, April 6, between 5pm and 7.10pm, when a group of people ordered £539.70 worth of food and drink, and then left without making payment.'
'The people in the images could assist police with their enquiries so they, or anyone who recognises them, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Please quote incident number 26000213409 when passing on any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible.'
Previous Incident
This is not the first time this branch of Miller & Carter has been left with unpaid bills. On March 27, two men left the restaurant without paying after a lunchtime meal between 2pm and 3.10pm. Two weeks later, police shared images of those men in the hopes of finding them.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
