Former model and Celebrity Big Brother star Danielle Lloyd has shared a significant update with her followers, confirming that her family is now "totally complete and perfect".
This announcement comes after a period of serious health challenges which included a cancer scare and led to doctors advising her to have a hysterectomy.
From Cancer Scare to Family Closure
In 2023, Lloyd opened up about a terrifying health episode where she was rushed to A&E after experiencing heavy bleeding, initially fearing a miscarriage. Medical examinations revealed cysts on her ovaries, with one described as being the size of a tennis ball.
Further tests were conducted to check for cancer, but she was ultimately given the all-clear. However, due to pre-existing conditions—endometriosis and adenomyosis—she required an operation to remove the cyst.
This procedure meant she could no longer carry children herself. At the time, the mum-of-five, who shares three sons with ex-husband Jamie O'Hara and two children with current husband Michael O'Neill, expressed her devastation and had considered adoption to expand her family.
A Tough Health Journey
Lloyd has faced a series of health battles in recent years. Endometriosis, where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the womb, and adenomyosis, where it grows into the uterine wall, have significantly impacted her wellbeing.
More recently, in February 2025, the former beauty queen was diagnosed with a form of skin cancer. In an emotional Instagram video, she urged followers to check any unusual moles, stating she was "really shocked" by the news and required an operation.
She described the immense relief she felt upon being cleared of ovarian cancer, revealing: "I was convinced I was going to die and was crying all the time. So when the doctor told me I was all clear, I felt this huge relief wash over me."
A Chapter Closes on Family Plans
On Tuesday, 30th December 2025, Lloyd directly addressed a fan's question on social media about whether her family was complete. Her definitive reply marked the end of her hopes for a sixth child.
By stating her family is "totally complete and perfect", she has drawn a line under the adoption plans she previously discussed following her hysterectomy advice. The star, married to Michael O'Neill since 2019, is now focusing on her health and her five children: Archie, Harry, George, Ronnie, and Autumn.
