Beckham Family Feud Nears End? Cruz's Instagram Gesture Sparks Reconciliation Hopes
Cruz Beckham's Instagram Post Hints at End of Family Feud

Signs are emerging that the heartbreaking rift which has divided the Beckham family for years may finally be healing. The potential breakthrough comes after the youngest Beckham son, Cruz, made a significant and revealing move on social media.

An Instagram Olive Branch

The feud, which has been publicly rumbling since May 2025 when Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham skipped David's 50th birthday, is believed to have deeper roots. Many trace the tension back to Brooklyn's lavish three-day wedding in Palm Beach, Florida, in April 2022.

However, hope for reconciliation flared this week when Cruz, 20, posted a sun-kissed throwback photo on his Instagram Stories. The image, dated to a 2021 family holiday, showed a beaming David Beckham with his sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz. Crucially, this marked the first photo of Brooklyn that Cruz has shared since the feud erupted.

Cryptic Messages and Blocked Accounts

This nostalgic post followed another telling moment from the budding singer just last week. Cruz, who had previously blocked Brooklyn on Instagram during the fallout, shared a close-up, downcast selfie with a poignant caption. He wrote: “Life is too short to be silence, at least talk it out,” accompanied by a crying face emoji.

Despite these gestures, Brooklyn and Cruz are still not following each other on Instagram. It was revealed earlier this year that both Cruz and his brother Romeo had removed their eldest sibling from their social media connections, a clear indicator of the depth of the estrangement.

Family Hints and Festive Hopes

While David and Victoria Beckham have remained publicly silent on the family dynamics, other relatives have dropped subtle hints. David's mother, Sandra, appeared to extend an olive branch to her grandson Brooklyn as Christmas approaches. Commenting on a video where Brooklyn wrapped a bottle of his own hot sauce, Sandra asked: "Is that for me?" with a string of affectionate emojis.

Designer Victoria also seemed to send a pointed message when she shared a video from her mother Jackie's house. The clip zoomed in on Christmas stockings hung for all the grandchildren, including one clearly labelled with Brooklyn's name. Victoria narrated: “So I’m here at my mum and dad’s house and look how cute. They’ve got all of the grandchildren’s stockings up ready for Christmas.”

Reports suggest the family will be divided for the festive season. David and Victoria are expected to spend Christmas with extended family, including Victoria's mother, while Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola will remain at their home in Los Angeles.

However, speculation is now mounting that a major reunion could be on the cards at the end of December. The wedding of influencer Holly Ramsay and Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty is set for 27th December. Given the famous closeness between the Ramsay and Beckham families, and rumours that Brooklyn and Nicola may attend, the event could provide the perfect neutral ground for a long-awaited reconciliation.
