Reality TV personality David Potts has stunned fans by revealing a dramatic physical transformation, shedding an impressive 2.5 stone during the festive period. The Celebrity Big Brother winner, 32, managed to focus on his health despite a busy schedule that included a pantomime run over Christmas.
The Snatched Transformation
Potts announced his weight loss success on Instagram, posting a striking side-by-side before and after photo. He captioned the post with the excited declaration: "OMG I'M SNATCHED. 2.5 stone down." The Ibiza Weekender star expressed immense pride in his achievement, particularly given the timing.
"Being on a weight loss journey over Christmas is hard enough especially when you throw panto in the mix," he wrote. "But I’m so proud of myself for putting in the hard work. And it’s paying off." He credited his success to the "old fashioned way" of dedicated effort, supported by a personal trainer.
Celebrity Support and Future Goals
The TV star received a flood of supportive messages from famous friends in the comments of his post. Comedian Alan Carr cheered him on with "You’ve got this!!!", while his former Ibiza Weekender co-star Ellie Young said she was "so proud." Potts gave a special shoutout to his trainer, @floydtransform, and @nuffieldhealth_bolton gym for their support. With characteristic humour, he added that he still has "just another 7.5 stone to go haha," indicating his journey is ongoing.

While celebrating his fitness milestone, Potts also discussed his future in television. Despite having appeared on numerous shows like Celebs Go Dating and Celebrity Karaoke Club, he firmly ruled out one major franchise: I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
"I'd be horrendous," he admitted. "I'm scared of everything. I don't even like rice. I'd be like 'are you able to chuck us a jacket potato down?'" He believes he'd be "the worst person they've ever had in there."
However, he is enthusiastic about a potential reboot of the show that launched his career, ITV's Ibiza Weekender. September 2026 will mark ten years since he first appeared on the programme. "I would absolutely love it to come back," he said, though he joked about his ability to handle the hangovers now he's 32, rather than the 22-year-old he was when he started.
Looking ahead, Potts teased upcoming projects, including a new series of his podcast, The David Potts Show, which will feature high-energy co-hosts. "There's multiple things I'm going to be doing on the telly," he hinted, promising more "carnage" to come from the reality star turned fitness inspiration.
