BBC Unveils Full Celebrity Traitors Series Two Line-Up of 21 Stars
BBC Reveals 21 Stars for Celebrity Traitors Series Two

The BBC has confirmed the names of all 21 stars who have signed up for series two of the Celebrity Traitors. This year's lineup includes notable figures such as Jerry Hall, Miranda Hart, Michael Sheen, and Richard E Grant, who are expected to be the 'big dogs' of the season.

Full Line-Up Revealed

The show, set in the stunning Scottish Highlands at Ardross Castle, begins filming next week, with celebrities starting to arrive today. Among the participants are University Challenge presenter Amol Rajan, actress Bella Ramsey, and comedian James Acaster. Also joining are comedy stars Joanne McNall and Joe Lycett, former Coronation Street legend Julie Hesmondhalgh, and social media content creator King Henry.

Pop star Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Love Island presenter Maya Jama, actor Myha'la, and BBC science and maths expert Professor Hannah Fry have also signed up. Rob Beckett and his TV sidekick Romesh Ranganathan will bring laughs, along with actors Ross Kemp and Sharon Rooney, and musician and actor Sebastian Croft.

Format and Charity

Once filming begins this weekend, the 20 contestants will be divided into Traitors and Faithfuls after extensive interviews with host Claudia Winkleman and production staff. Their mission is to identify who among them dons the hooded cloaks each night to decide who gets murdered. Instead of keeping any winnings, the celebrities will donate their earnings to chosen charities.

The series is not expected to air on BBC One until autumn, following the success of the first series, which featured stars like Sir Stephen Fry, Alan Carr, Paloma Faith, Charlotte Church, and Jonathan Ross. Alan Carr won the inaugural season by revealing himself as a Traitor in the final moments, collapsing in tears from the strain. That scene has been nominated for TV Moment of the Year at the BAFTAs.

Speculation and Anticipation

Recent months saw wild speculation about potential participants, with rumors of Danny Dyer, Ruth Jones, Liam Gallagher, Cheryl Tweedy, and Peter Crouch. Other incorrect guesses included Alison Hammond and Louis Theroux. The official lineup has now put all speculation to rest.
