Andy Cohen Admits to Botox and Veneers After New Year's Eve Appearance Sparks Surgery Rumours
Andy Cohen Reveals Botox and Veneers After NYE Speculation

Television personality Andy Cohen has openly discussed the cosmetic enhancements behind his refreshed look, after hosting CNN's New Year's Eve special sparked widespread speculation about potential plastic surgery.

Addressing the Rumours Head-On

The 58-year-old host of Watch What Happens Live seemed delighted by the chatter surrounding his more youthful appearance during the broadcast with Anderson Cooper. On his SiriusXM show, Andy Cohen Live, he set the record straight. Cohen confessed to receiving 'the teeniest bit of Botox' and getting 'four minor veneers' on his front teeth. He was quick to downplay the extent of the work, insisting the changes were subtle.

'I love the speculation that I have dramatically changed my face!' he said enthusiastically, before clarifying he hadn't undertaken any major procedures. His co-host, John Hill, joined the conversation, which soon turned to the topic of their on-air makeup.

Makeup Mishaps and a Paler Co-Host

While pleased with the surgery talk, Cohen was less thrilled with the feedback on his heavily made-up visage for the broadcast. He recounted how Anderson Cooper's makeup artist expressed concern, prompting him to request more tanner. The result, he acknowledged, led to comments online comparing him to a 'beaten-down lady.'

Both Cohen and Hill agreed that part of the issue was his stark contrast next to the notoriously fair-skinned Anderson Cooper. 'I think this is because you were standing next to Anderson who could have used some bronzer,' Hill remarked. Cohen concurred, stating, 'He is so pale. I mean, my God.'

A Year of Transformation

This isn't the first time Cohen has addressed changes in his appearance recently. He previously mentioned a 20-pound weight loss ahead of the New Year's Eve special. More broadly, 2025 saw a significant physical transformation for the media mogul, who revealed he lost 25 pounds with the aid of a weight loss medication.

'I did this summer lose a good chunk of weight by micro-dosing a GLP-1 all summer,' he explained on his radio show in September. The treatment helped him curb persistent cravings, particularly for the snacks and pasta often available on the set of his talk show.

Following the festive broadcast, Cohen took to social media to reflect on the event, thanking Cooper and joking that they were 'a tad overserved.' Despite the mixed reviews on his makeup, the host appears to be embracing this chapter of change with humour and transparency.
