Amanda Holden Confronts Co-Star Over I'm A Celebrity Bathroom Revelation
Amanda Holden returned to Heart Radio on Wednesday and swiftly confronted her co-star Ashley Roberts about a recent television moment that left audiences amused. The Pussycat Dolls singer, currently appearing in I'm A Celebrity… South Africa—filmed last year—had shared an off-camera secret about Holden's remarkably speedy bathroom habits during a recent episode.
The Surprising Confession
In the episode, Ashley Roberts, 44, left her campmates in stitches by revealing that Amanda Holden can "poo quicker than anybody I’ve ever met in my life." She elaborated, describing how Holden would dash off during radio links while wearing stiletto heels, complete the task before a song ended, and return to the studio as if nothing happened, often exclaiming, "Yep, feeling great!"
Addressing the clip live on Heart Radio alongside Ashley and Jamie Theakston, the 55-year-old Britain's Got Talent judge said she had seen the footage and "loved" it. She confirmed her ability, stating, "You know I can run down there, do a poo and come back before the end of a song."
Radio Banter and Pride
While Jamie Theakston acknowledged his co-host's famously quick pit stops, he questioned why Ashley felt compelled to share the story publicly. Amanda Holden laughed it off, declaring, "I’m proud of it," and confirming she didn't mind the exposure. Ashley quipped, "She is the quickest poo-er in the land!" to which Holden humorously replied, "I need a sash or a crown."
Holden further explained her philosophy, saying she doesn't understand why anyone would linger in the bathroom, advocating to "just get out." She added, "I don’t even like sitting down - especially in public toilets. Fire and go!" When her co-star expressed shock at the claim she doesn't sit down, Holden joked, "I've got the strongest thighs in showbiz!"
Ashley Roberts Reflects on I'm A Celebrity Experience
During the chat, Ashley Roberts also opened up about her time on I'm A Celebrity… South Africa, revealing who she missed most from the show. The contestants vying to be crowned Legend of the Jungle include Ashley, Scarlett Moffatt, Sinitta, Sir Mo Farah, Seann Walsh, Adam Thomas, David Haye, Beverley Callard, Gemma Collins, Craig Charles, Jimmy Bullard, and Harry Redknapp.
Reflecting on her experience, Ashley said, "I had good relationships with everybody, I was lucky in that sense. But, me and Scarlett were bush sisters - and we still are." She emphasized their bond, noting, "Honestly, I couldn't have gotten through that without her. We just kept each other sane. You know when you look at someone across the room and you just know what they’re thinking? We were always on the same page. It was pretty much that."
Camp Tensions and Final Details
Meanwhile, tensions escalated in the camp on Tuesday night after the Rhinos beat the Lions in another challenge. The victory meant the Rhinos enjoyed more food for dinner, while the losing team was left with rice and beans. Annoyed by the result, David Haye threatened to steal the other team's food as it passed their camp.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, he outlined his plan: "If the food comes across, whoever it was potentially for - or not for - is neither my concern. I’m going to take it and I’m going to eat it."
The I'm a Celebrity... South Africa live final for the 2026 series will air on Friday, 24 April 2026. The show broadcasts weekdays from 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
