Emergency services rushed to Restaurante Meson Morisco in Sayalonga, Malaga, at 8:15 pm on Monday, June 15. The Malaga Provincial Fire Consortium reported on social media that a gas cylinder explosion occurred at the restaurant, causing the upper floor to collapse. Firefighters worked to clear debris to ensure no one was trapped.

Response and Casualties

The fire consortium stated that the area was cordoned off and that there were no serious injuries. However, eight people, including two children, sustained injuries in the blast. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
