Anita Ashcroft, 61, died in a head-on collision with an HGV on Hall Lane in Wrightington on July 9, Lancashire Police confirmed. Her family has now paid a moving tribute, saying they 'miss her terribly'.
Crash details and immediate aftermath
The collision occurred just after 8am on July 9. Anita was a passenger in a VW Golf that 'appeared to have failed to negotiate a bend' and collided head-on with an HGV, according to police.
