Tammy Canut, aged 53 and residing in North Huntingdon, is now confronting a series of serious criminal charges following the disturbing Thursday afternoon episode at a Giant Eagle supermarket located within the Oak Park Mall Shopping Center in White Oak, Pennsylvania.
Chaotic Scene Unfolds in White Oak
Law enforcement officers responded to reports of a major disturbance at the grocery store just after 3 p.m., where they encountered a highly unusual and volatile situation. According to an official police press release, authorities discovered the woman completely unclothed and bleeding from facial injuries upon their arrival at the scene. The incident quickly escalated, creating significant disruption within the store as customers and employees attempted to navigate the unfolding chaos.
Video Evidence Captures Bizarre Behaviour
Video footage recorded by a customer present during the incident and subsequently obtained by local news station WPXI appears to document Canut's alarming actions. The blurred but audible recording shows the woman removing all of her clothing while pushing a dog in a stroller through the store aisles. Customers can be heard reacting with shock and disgust, with one individual exclaiming "Ew, you weirdo" as the disrobing occurred.
The video further captures Canut allegedly kicking and shoving both store employees and bystanders while simultaneously knocking over multiple food displays throughout the supermarket.
