A murder investigation is underway in North West London after a young man was fatally stabbed in broad daylight on a busy high street. The Metropolitan Police confirmed the 22-year-old victim died following the attack in Wembley this afternoon.
Police Launch Murder Probe After Midday Attack
Officers were called to High Road, Wembley, at 12:55pm on Monday, 1 December 2025, following reports of a violent assault. Upon arrival, they found a man with serious stab wounds.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service provided urgent treatment at the scene before rushing the victim to a nearby hospital. Despite their efforts, the young man was pronounced dead a short time later.
The Metropolitan Police have formally notified the victim's next of kin, who are now receiving support from specialist family liaison officers.
