Broader Recall Context

This recall is part of a series of product safety actions by the CPSC. Last week, over 200,000 pairs of 32 Degrees Heated Socks were recalled after multiple reports of burns. The socks, sold at Costco stores and online from August 2025 to March 2026, can pose an injury hazard when worn during high-intensity activities that generate friction, heat, moisture, and pressure. Approximately 14 incidents have been reported, with 13 involving first or second-degree burns.

Earlier this month, about 740,000 sets of Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue stainless steel sauté pans, sold at Costco, Walmart, and Amazon, were recalled. The two-piece pan sets, sold for around $40 between August 2021 and February 2026, have a metal cap on the screw connecting the pan to the handle that can detach and forcefully eject when heated. New York-based E Mishan & Sons, Inc., which imported the pans, received nearly 100 reports of the cap detaching, with one incident resulting in bruising and burn injuries.
