Surrey Police have confirmed a major development in the investigation into the fatal stabbing of a 15-year-old boy in Guildford earlier this week. Two teenage boys have now been formally charged with murder in connection with the incident.
Charges Laid Following Tragic Death
The victim has been identified as Luis Gabriel Guembes, a 15-year-old who had moved to the United Kingdom from Lima, Peru, at a young age. He was found deceased in Stoke Park, Guildford, on Monday, 19 January.
Following initial arrests, Surrey Police announced on Friday, 23 January, that a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy have been charged. Due to their age, the identities of the accused cannot be publicly disclosed.
