
Metropolitan Police have launched an urgent manhunt following a horrific rape incident near Canary Wharf's DLR station in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The attack occurred approximately at 12:45 AM on Tuesday, September 24th, in the vicinity of the busy transport hub in East London.
Details of the Attack
According to police statements, the victim was approached and assaulted by an unknown male suspect in the area surrounding the DLR station. The perpetrator fled the scene before authorities arrived.
Specialist detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Sexual Offences Unit have been assigned to the case and are conducting a thorough investigation.
Police Appeal for Information
Detective Inspector Ben Heath, leading the investigation, stated: "We are providing specialist support to the victim while pursuing all lines of enquiry. We urge anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the Canary Wharf DLR station area around midnight to contact us immediately."

- Witnesses who were in the area between 12:30 AM and 1:00 AM
- Dashcam or private CCTV footage from nearby buildings
- Anyone with information about suspicious individuals in the vicinity
