Flight Attendant Reveals 4 Rude Passenger Habits to Avoid
Flight Attendant Lists 4 Rude Passenger Habits

A flight attendant with over 10 years of experience has shared four things she wishes passengers would stop doing, describing them as rude, inconvenient, and making her job harder.

1. Being Rude to Flight Attendants

Charity Moore, an 11-year flight attendant, urges passengers to avoid rudeness, including touching flight attendants, stalking them in the aisle, and demanding they pick up trash. She explains that the call bell should only be used for important matters like medical emergencies, not for trash disposal. She also asks passengers to stop standing too close behind her in the aisle, advising them to wait a few steps back.

2. Not Knowing Your Assigned Seat

Moore emphasizes that passengers should check their boarding pass before boarding. Knowing your seat assignment speeds up the boarding process and reduces confusion. She notes that all airlines now assign seats, so memorizing your seat number is essential.

3. Playing Videos at Full Volume

Playing music, movies, FaceTime calls, or TikTok videos without headphones is particularly annoying on planes, according to Moore. She describes it as rude and lacking self-awareness, urging passengers to use headphones or turn down the volume.

4. Poor Toilet Etiquette

Moore reminds passengers to close the lavatory door after use and to wash their hands. She stresses that flight attendants are not cleaners but are there for safety and service. Poor toilet habits create unpleasant conditions for everyone.
