A 36-year-old man, a resident of Derby originally from India, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in police custody after detectives secured an extension to the time he can be held for questioning. A Derbyshire Police spokesperson stated this morning: "Detectives are continuing their enquiries following an extension to the time that the man arrested can be held for.
