Emergency services have sealed off a busy shopping street in Beeston, Nottinghamshire, with a police cordon in place on Saturday afternoon (April 25). Several police vehicles are parked up, and the road is closed near multiple businesses, including Pizza Hut, Iguazu, and Cafe 94.
Cafe Forced to Close
Cafe 94 posted on Facebook that it cannot reopen until the road is cleared. The post stated: "Police close the road, we can't open Cafe until Road reopen again."
Police Investigation Underway
The cordon stretches from the best-one corner shop to the Pizza Hut Delivery store. Businesses inside the cordon include Anatolia Turkish restaurant, 5 Star Nails and Beauty, Ezee vape shop, Cafe 94, Bing Kee boba shop, Washoku sushi shop, and Iguazu.
Inside the cordon, there are two police cars, a crime scene investigation vehicle, and two other cars—a black Ford and a white Audi. Two police officers are working within the area, according to reporter George.
