Disneyland Paris Confirms Frozen Land Opening Date for 2026
Disneyland Paris Frozen Land Opens March 2026

Disneyland Paris has officially confirmed the long-awaited opening date for its spectacular World of Frozen land, setting March 29, 2026 as the day guests can first step into the magical kingdom of Arendelle.

A First Look Inside Arendelle

We were granted an exclusive sneak peek inside the new land, located within the Walt Disney Studios Park, which will be rebranded as Disney Adventure World upon Frozen's debut. The immersive experience is designed to transport visitors directly into the heart of the beloved film.

From the entrance, guests are greeted by a vast snowy mountain with Elsa's glittering ice palace perched majestically in the distance. The area features authentically styled Nordic architecture, picturesque fountains adorned with icicles, and even subtle Mickey Mouse shapes hidden for eagle-eyed fans to discover.

Character Encounters and Animatronic Magic

Character meet and greets will be a central part of the experience. Visitors can book a session at the Arendelle castle to meet Princesses Anna and Elsa, a system designed to minimise waiting times.

A standout feature is the brand new Olaf animatronic, a world-first creation that is remarkably lifelike. The adorable snowman waddles, talks, and waves, interacting seamlessly with the princesses to the delight of onlookers.

He won't be the only character roaming the land. Guests will also have opportunities to meet Oaken from his trading post, some charming baby trolls, and villagers eager to share stories of life in Arendelle.

Attractions, Dining and Interactive Merchandise

A vibrant 15-minute show will take place multiple times daily in the bay, featuring a flotilla of boats led by Kristoff and Olaf. The princesses will wave from their own vessel, and the audience will be encouraged to sing along to iconic songs like 'Let It Go'.

For foodies, the Nordic Crowns Tavern offers a build-your-own bowl concept, with chefs having rigorously tested over 30 types of mashed potato to perfect the menu. The establishment will cater to various dietary needs, including vegan and gluten-free options.

The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge provides a more upscale setting, complete with princess-inspired murals and character dining experiences. The lounge bar, a first for the parks, will serve a sophisticated selection of Kir Royale and Champagne cocktails.

While the 'Frozen Ever After' ride remains under construction, it promises a gentle boat journey through a snowy forest, the Valley of the Trolls, and Elsa's Ice Palace, culminating in Arendelle Bay amid snowflake firework displays.

Merchandise gets an innovative twist with the Rúna troll doll. Priced at €70, this interactive toy, similar to a Furby, responds to specific 'trigger points' located throughout the Frozen land, with a map provided to guide owners on their interactive treasure hunt.

The World of Frozen will be complemented by two new nearby attractions: an Up-inspired swing carousel and a Tangled-themed teacups ride. A new nighttime spectacular over the central lake will utilise drones, pyrotechnics, and fountains, featuring tributes to other Disney favourites like Moana.

This major expansion is part of a broader transformation of the park, which already includes Marvel and Pixar lands, with a Lion King-themed area planned for the coming years.
