Adam Thomas has said that parts of his heated exchange with Jimmy Bullard on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! were too strong to be shown on television. In a social media post, the Emmerdale actor reflected on his time in the jungle and addressed the fallout from the argument.
Thomas acknowledged that much of his aired footage focused on drama, but insisted there were also plenty of laughs and moments of warmth. He said he had seen comments about what fellow campmates said during the row and that he completely stood by them, adding: "Not everything was shown, and honestly, a lot of it probably couldn't be aired anyway."
He went on to urge fans not to direct negativity towards his campmates, describing them as some of the kindest and most genuine people he has met. He also paid tribute to Scarlett Moffatt, praising her for lifting spirits and keeping the camp going with her personality.
The row between Thomas and Bullard erupted after Bullard pulled out of a Bushtucker Trial, prompting Thomas to swear in frustration. The pair were among those competing in the Rancid Run challenge, where the last team to complete the task faced elimination.
Tonight's live final will see Scarlett Moffatt, Mo Farah, Harry Redknapp, Adam Thomas and Craig Charles tackle the Cyclone, a water-based assault course. The programme airs on ITV at 9pm.
