A British tourist has tragically died after falling from the seventh floor of a Thai hotel in what local authorities are treating as a suspected suicide.
The 33-year-old man, whose identity hasn't been officially released, plunged from his balcony at the popular Pattaya hotel around 3pm local time on Tuesday.
Emergency Response and Investigation
Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of the fall, but despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Thai police have confirmed they're not treating the death as suspicious and believe it was likely suicide.
Police Colonel Thanapong Photi, superintendent of Pattaya City Police Station, stated: "We are investigating the cause of death and awaiting autopsy results. Initial findings suggest no foul play was involved."

The incident occurred in Pattaya, a coastal city that attracts millions of tourists annually with its beaches and vibrant nightlife. The hotel where the tragedy unfolded is located in the heart of the city's tourist district.
