Eurovision 2026: Vienna Hosts Dates, UK Act and How to Watch on BBC

The 70th Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Vienna, Austria, in May 2026, following JJ's victory at the 2025 Grand Final with their operatic ballad, Wasted Love. BBC Studios is again producing the BBC's coverage of the event.

The Grand Final is scheduled for Saturday 16 May, with Semi-Finals on Tuesday 12 and Thursday 14 May. Both Semi-Finals will be broadcast live on BBC iPlayer and BBC One from 8pm, hosted by Austrian stars Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski. Commentator Rylan and Angela Scanlon will guide audiences from the Wiener Stadthalle arena.

Viewers in the UK can vote in the second Semi-Final, which features the UK act LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER performing his song Eins, Zwei, Drei. He will also compete in the Grand Final alongside 24 other countries. Graham Norton will provide commentary for the Grand Final, which includes an opening act titled The Queen of the Night featuring 2025 winner JJ.

The UK's jury spokesperson for 2026 is La Voix, who will deliver the results live from Salford. Accessibility features include live Audio Description and British Sign Language interpretation on BBC iPlayer and BBC One. Radio coverage on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds will be presented by Sara Cox and Rylan.

Tia Kofi, star of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, will serve as the BBC's digital roving reporter, providing exclusive content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER's song Eins, Zwei, Drei is described as being about escaping the nine-to-five grind into a world of dreams.
