Marcus Rashford has taken to social media to declare he will 'keep it moving' amid mounting uncertainty over his future at Barcelona. The Manchester United loanee, who spent the season on loan at the Camp Nou, faces an uncertain summer after Barcelona splashed £69.3 million on Newcastle's Anthony Gordon.
The 28-year-old enjoyed a stellar campaign in Spain, netting 14 goals and providing 14 assists across all competitions, earning a spot in Thomas Tuchel's England squad for the upcoming World Cup. However, Barcelona's deadline to activate a £26 million permanent purchase option is fast approaching, and the club's recent big-money signing has cast doubt on whether they will proceed.
Rashford posted a series of images on Instagram showing him training individually, accompanied by the caption: 'Keep it moving'. The post comes amid reports that Barcelona are also considering a free transfer for Manchester City's Bernardo Silva, which could further diminish Rashford's chances of a permanent stay.
Should Barcelona opt against signing Rashford, Manchester United would face a decision on whether to reintegrate him under manager Michael Carrick or seek a move elsewhere. Arsenal, finalists in this season's Champions League, have been linked with the forward.
