Walkers has sparked excitement among crisp lovers by hinting at the return of its Worcester Sauce flavour, discontinued two years ago. The snack giant has been replying to old social media posts from fans mourning the loss, suggesting a comeback may be imminent.
On X (formerly Twitter), Walkers responded to a 2023 post lamenting the flavour's removal, telling the user to "keep your eyes peeled on your DM's." Another fan received a purple heart and eye emoji, followed by a similar message when they asked directly about a return.
Fans have reacted with a mix of hope and caution. One wrote: "They better not be playing with my heart like this, I lost a piece of my soul when they stopped production of those bad boys." Another said: "My son would be one happy boy if these do return! Please say it is true."
Despite the teasing, Walkers has not officially confirmed the flavour's return. The tangy and salty Worcester Sauce crisps were a favourite among the British public, and their discontinuation caused widespread dismay. Fans have been calling for their reinstatement ever since.
