Waitrose Revamps Christmas Food with Better Value & Festive Variety
Waitrose makes major changes to Christmas food

As the cost of living continues to rise, many in the UK are feeling the financial pressure of the festive season. However, Waitrose is stepping in to ease those concerns with a major overhaul of its beloved Christmas food range, promising shoppers enhanced value and a wider selection of festive treats.

Festive Multibuy Offers for Party Season

The retailer has launched an array of multibuy promotions designed to make Christmas entertaining more affordable. A standout offer is the mix and match three for two deal on Christmas party food, which remains valid until 1 January 2026. This promotion includes popular items like mini beef Yorkshire puddings, pigs in blankets, prawn tempura, and duck spring rolls.

Shoppers can also find a two for £4 offer on frozen Christmas vegetables running until 28 December. For those planning larger gatherings, a budget-friendly four for three deal on frozen party food is available until the New Year, featuring onion rings, prawn toast, halloumi fries, mac and cheese bites, and hot honey chicken bites.

Significant Price Reductions on Christmas Classics

Bargain hunters have a prime opportunity to save on traditional Christmas staples, but they must act swiftly. Waitrose is currently offering a third off selected Christmas food items, though this promotion is set to end on December 2.

The discounts include the Waitrose Christmas Classic Panettone, reduced from £12.00 to £8.00; the Waitrose Christmas Stollen, now priced at £4.66 instead of £7.00; and the No.1 12-Month Matured Christmas Pudding, cut from £7.50 to £5.00.

Festive Tipples and Competitor Offers

No Christmas feast is complete without drinks, and Waitrose has that covered too. Until December 2, customers can get 25% off when buying six or more bottles of wine or champagne, applicable to bottles priced from £6 to £100.

Other notable drink deals include Bucks Fizz for £3.50 a bottle or two for £6. Specific brand reductions have been available, such as Charles Lecouvey Champagne Brut NV reduced from £30 to £20 and San Leo Prosecco Magnum down from £22 to £15. The Baileys Terry's Chocolate Orange is also on offer at an introductory price of £12.50 until January 1, 2026.

Waitrose isn't the only supermarket vying for festive shoppers. SPAR is running featured deals from November 20 to December 10, including a 20-pack of Walkers Crisps for £4.25. Tesco is tempting customers with half-price deals on its Finest mince pies and discounts on Quality Street and Cadbury Heroes tins, alongside a 25% discount on Lindt products.

With these strategic changes and competitive offers, Waitrose is clearly aiming to ensure that the joy of a festive feast remains accessible to all, even in a challenging economic climate.
