Terry's Chocolate Orange Cream Egg Returns to UK Shops

Shoppers are celebrating the return of the Terry's Chocolate Orange Cream Egg, a product that has been spotted in stores across the UK. The confection, filled with orange-flavoured cream, was first seen in B&M stores last December and has since expanded to major supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Co-op, and Iceland.

The 34g egg is priced at around 85p, with multipacks of five available for £3.50. Tesco Clubcard members can purchase individual eggs for 75p. The treat arrives months ahead of Easter, which falls in early April this year.

Fans have taken to social media to express their excitement. TikTok user Mimi Nasri described it as 'what a creation', while others commented 'need immediately' and 'I am running to Tesco'. Terry's announced the return online, stating: 'Our newest Easter eggsperiment is officially delicious!'

Terry's Chocolate Orange was first launched in Yorkshire in 1932. The brand later introduced white chocolate, mint, and mini versions. The company traces its roots back to 1767, when a shop in York sold lemon and orange candied peel. Joseph Terry joined the business in 1823, expanding into chocolate and confectionery.

The brand recommends leaving the cream egg at room temperature for a gooier centre, or keeping it in a pocket if hiding it from others.
