Tammy Hembrow Closes Saski Activewear Brand After 10 Years, Teases New Venture
Influencer Tammy Hembrow Shuts Down Saski Activewear Brand

Australian fitness influencer and entrepreneur Tammy Hembrow has announced the sudden closure of her activewear brand, Saski Collection, nearly a decade after its launch. The 31-year-old revealed the decision in an emotional video posted to the brand's Instagram page on Thursday, confirming the website has been disabled and the brand is no longer available to shop.

End of an Era for Influencer-Led Brand

In a video filmed from her car, Hembrow explained that closing the business, which she started in 2017, followed considerable reflection. She described Saski as a huge part of her life that taught her about business, growth, and resilience. "Sometimes a chapter needs to close in order to make space for new growth," Hembrow stated, expressing excitement for the future and hoping her followers would join her on the next journey.

The accompanying caption on Instagram further hinted at new developments. "I am beyond excited to show you guys what I have in store for this next chapter. Stay tuned," she wrote, thanking her community for their support over the years. Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, she reiterated her pride in what was built and her gratitude to everyone who supported the brand's journey.

Closure Follows Design Controversy

The shutdown arrives just months after Hembrow faced public allegations of copying designs from a rival activewear label. In May, while promoting her 'luxury athleisure' range, critics accused her of replicating styles from Crop Shop Boutique (CSB), a brand owned by fellow Gold Coast influencer Rachel Dillon.

Eagle-eyed followers shared side-by-side comparisons on social media, noting similarities between Saski's baby pink V-waist shorts and sports bra and CSB's 2023 designs. One user captioned the juxtaposed images "CSB 2023, Saski 2025." Hembrow swiftly denied the claims in a since-deleted comment, asserting her team had held the samples for over a year. Daily Mail Australia noted it was not suggesting Hembrow copied the designs and had contacted her for comment at the time.

Looking to the Future

Despite the recent controversy, Hembrow's announcement focused firmly on the future. The closure of Saski Collection marks a significant pivot for the influencer, whose business ventures have been closely watched by millions. Her message emphasised growth through change, a common narrative in the volatile world of influencer-led commerce. As one chapter ends, her audience is now left anticipating what her next business venture will be.
