Princess Andre has spoken out for the first time since her mother Katie Price's surprise wedding to Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews. The 18-year-old daughter of Katie Price and Peter Andre admitted she has not yet met her new stepfather but said she is happy for her mother.
Speaking to The Sun's Fabulous magazine, Princess described her mother as 'crazy' but supportive. 'If she's happy, I'm happy,' she said. The wedding, which took place in Dubai ten days earlier, is Katie Price's fourth marriage, following previous unions with Peter Andre, Alex Reid, and Kieran Hayler.
Princess also welcomed the recent truce between her parents, who issued a joint statement agreeing to stop publicly criticising each other. 'I feel really happy that they've both agreed to move forward on good terms,' she said. 'It's definitely a relief, and I feel like now as a family, we can all be happy.'
The model and singer, who split in 2009, share two children: Junior, 20, and Princess, 18. Their joint statement emphasised a commitment to creating a calm and supportive environment for their children. Princess noted that the agreement means she and her brother will no longer be put in the middle of their parents' issues.
