Leeds United are closing in on another season in the Premier League and planning summer improvements. Daniel Farke's side have surged to 40 points after a five-game unbeaten run, edging towards safety. The club spent £100m last summer and could invest a similar amount, though not on a single £40-50m player.
In goal, Karl Darlow's contract expires, Illan Meslier is set to leave, and Lucas Perri and Alex Cairns could also depart. Leeds are targeting Shakhtar Donetsk's Dmytro Riznyk, with reports of an £8.7m bid for the 27-year-old.
Defensively, Leeds are interested in Wolves centre-back Santiago Bueno, valued at £13m, and Union Berlin's Danilho Doekhi, who is available on a free transfer. Their arrivals could lead to Joe Rodon's exit, while full-back Sam Byram's contract is expiring.
In midfield, Sporting CP's Hidemasa Morita has been linked, with his contract expiring this summer. Liverpool's Harvey Elliott, who struggled on loan at Aston Villa, could be available at a reduced fee. Wide player Largie Ramazani may make his Valencia loan permanent.
Up front, Joel Piroe, Facundo Buonanotte, and Brenden Aaronson could leave. Leeds are monitoring Feyenoord striker Ayase Ueda, who has scored 26 goals this season and is valued at around £13m. A strong World Cup could increase his price.
