Fashion Editor's Top 20 Style Buys Under £50 This Season
Top 20 Fashion Buys Under £50 for This Season

Few of us have the money these days to invest in a complete wardrobe revamp every season. Instead, I prefer to focus on buying the best quality basics I can afford, and wearing them year after year, scattering in the odd trending piece along the way.

For the latter, you don't need to spend a fortune, particularly as the high street (and even supermarkets) are serving up endless sartorial hits these days. There's nothing better than wearing an item of clothing that bags you loads of compliments and everyone thinks is designer, only to turn around and reveal it's actually from H&M or Tu at Sainsbury's.

As a fashion editor, I spend my life narrowing down the high street's offering into the most stylish, elevated and flattering pieces. Here are the best buys that have caught my eye this season - and they are all under £50.
