The Daily Express has published a correction following an upheld ruling by the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO) regarding an article about travel advice for Turkey, Greece, and Cyprus.
An article headlined “Dubai, Turkey, Cyprus and Greece travel advice as 'do not visit' warning issued”, published on 10 March 2026, suggested that Turkey, Greece and Cyprus had been issued “do not travel” warnings by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
Misleading Information Corrected
This was misleading: no such warning was issued for these countries. The correction has been published following an upheld ruling by the Independent Press Standards Organisation.
