Club Aviator App Launches Digital Hub for 11 Million Aviation Professionals
New Digital Hub Connects 11 Million Aviation Professionals

A revolutionary digital platform designed specifically for aviation professionals has officially taken flight, offering millions of airline industry workers the opportunity to connect with colleagues worldwide and share insider travel knowledge.

Exclusive Network for Flying Community

Club Aviator, which launched on October 1st after four years in development, represents a significant breakthrough for the 11 million professionals working within the global aviation sector. The closed-user application requires verified work email registration to ensure both authenticity and security for its exclusive community of pilots, cabin crew and other aviation personnel.

Founded by Maggie Draycott, a prominent figure in global travel and aviation who previously worked on the iconic Concorde aircraft brands team, the app addresses a longstanding gap in social connectivity for aviation professionals. Draycott, recognised as one of Condé Nast Traveller's 50 Most Influential Travellers, spent 15 years leading British Airways' 'Premier and High Value Customers' division before developing this innovative solution.

Combating Professional Isolation

'I conceived the idea during the final stages of the Covid pandemic,' Draycott explained to The Mail. 'There was absolutely nothing available to connect people within the airline industry. Countless aviation professionals find themselves sitting alone in hotel rooms, not knowing anyone in their location.'

She highlighted the scale of the issue, noting that 'every single night, there are approximately 2,000 crew members in New York City alone, and nobody knows each other. We were determined to change that dynamic completely.'

The app provides carefully curated global recommendations covering everything from essential restaurants and rooftop bars to lesser-known cultural spots and current travel updates. This enables aviation professionals to discover local gems recommended by industry insiders, whether they're on a brief layover or extended trip.

Comprehensive Features for Global Professionals

Club Aviator serves as a comprehensive one-stop platform where aviation professionals can organise meet-ups, participate in chat groups and exchange itineraries, travel hacks and valuable insights. The application has already generated substantial international interest since its October launch.

'More than anything else, it functions as a home away from home,' Draycott emphasised. 'It provides the reassurance that you always have a friend to contact, no matter where you find yourself in the world.'

During its introductory phase, Club Aviator remains completely free to download and use. The application is currently available for download on both the App Store and Google Play under the name ClubAviator, compatible with macOS and Android devices.
