The 29-year-old has arrived in Sri Lanka with the national team for a crucial three-match T20 series, which serves as vital preparation ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Salt currently occupies the second position in the official ICC T20 batting rankings, trailing only behind Indian superstar Abhishek Sharma. With an impressive record of four centuries in just 50 T20 international appearances, Salt maintains a formidable average of 38.5 and an explosive strike rate of 168 runs per 100 balls faced.
The right-handed batsman produced a career-defining performance last summer, smashing an unbeaten 141 runs against South Africa. This remarkable innings helped England become the first Test-playing nation to surpass 300 runs in a T20 international match, showcasing Salt's destructive capabilities at the crease.
